Brand partnerships for DIY and renovation creators Brand deals thatfit the build.
If you make home improvement content, we’d like to know about you. We introduce creators to brands when the product genuinely suits the project, and we handle the paperwork so you can get on with the job. It costs nothing to introduce yourself.
01What to expect
What workingwith us looks like.
The short version: you’ll know what you’re signing up for before you sign anything.
-
A written brief and agreement
Deliverables, dates and fees are agreed in writing before you start. No vague DMs, no scope creep after the fact.
-
Plain-English terms
Usage rights and exclusivity explained in normal words, so you know where your content will run and for how long.
-
Products that suit the project
We bring you briefs that fit what you were already planning to build, not a product you’d have to force into shot.
-
Your voice stays yours
Brands check product claims and anything technical. Your style, your opinion and the way you talk to your audience stay with you.
-
Help with disclosure
Every partnership gets labelled properly on every platform. We’ll help you get it right so your audience keeps trusting you.
-
No fees, no passwords
Introducing yourself is free, and we will never ask for access to your accounts.
02Creators
Who wework with.
If your content involves building, fixing or transforming a home, you’re in the right place. That includes:
Makeover creators
Room transformations over a weekend or a month, usually building to a reveal.
Renovators
People documenting a whole house or apartment project, often across dozens of videos.
Tutorial and how-to creators
Step-by-step teaching for an audience that is about to try the job.
Trade and building educators
Builders and tradespeople explaining methods, materials and the mistakes to avoid.
Woodworkers and makers
Furniture, built-ins and workshop projects with a close focus on tools and technique.
Renter-friendly DIYers
Removable, low-commitment upgrades for people who can’t renovate properly yet.
03Matching
How opportunitiesget matched.
Follower count matters, but it’s one input, not the deciding one. A creator with 15,000 followers who are halfway through their own renovations can suit a tile brand better than one with 500,000 who watch for entertainment.
- Projects you finish
- Creators who see a job through and show the result honestly, including the parts that went wrong.
- An audience that asks questions
- Comments asking about materials, methods and costs tell us more than a follower count does.
- Good practice on camera
- Safe methods, the right gear, and licensed trades where the law requires them.
- Reliability
- Meeting the dates you agree to, and labelling paid content properly every time.
For each brief we check
- Whether the product suits the projects you make and the ones you have planned
- Where your audience lives compared with where the brand sells
- The formats you’re good at, from long installs to short reveals
- How you’ve handled sponsorships before, including disclosure
- Whether the timing works for both sides
04After you apply
What happens afteryou get in touch.
-
We look at your work
We read your introduction and spend time on your profiles and recent projects.
-
If a brief fits, we call
You get the details up front: the brand, the deliverables, the fee and the timing. You decide whether it suits you.
-
If nothing fits yet, we keep you on file
So we can reach you when something relevant comes in. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Introducing yourself doesn’t guarantee a brand opportunity. It means we know who you are when a relevant brief comes in.
05Questions
Questions creatorsusually ask.
Do I need a big following?
No. We look at who your audience is and what they’re trying to do. A smaller audience that is planning projects can be a better fit for a brand than a huge one that isn’t.
Do I have to be in Australia?
No. We work with creators internationally, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. What matters is whether your audience lines up with where a brand sells.
Does it cost anything?
No. Introducing yourself is free, and you’ll never be asked to pay to be considered for a brief. How each partnership is paid is set out in writing before you start, so you know exactly what you’ll receive.
Can I say no to a brief?
Of course. You get the details first and you decide. Turning down something that doesn’t fit your channel won’t count against you.
Who owns the content I make?
Usually you do, and the brand gets a licence to use it in agreed ways for an agreed period. That’s written into the agreement before you start, so there are no surprises later.
06Introduce yourself
Introduceyourself.
Tell us about your content and the projects you’re planning. Links to your profiles are the most useful thing you can send. A media kit is welcome but not needed.
Introducing yourself doesn’t guarantee a brand opportunity. It means we know who you are when a relevant brief comes in.
